No matter how busy you are, make sure to find some time over the two weeks to reflect, think, give and plan.
The week between Christmas and New Year’s is the ideal time for this. Try to slow things down. Spend time with the ones you love and care about. Take some time to talk with your spouse and kids about goals and dreams for the next year. Use this as a time to recharge your batteries (and not just by watching TV the entire time), and with excitement, think about a handful of changes or additions you want for your life in the new year.

I’m often asked the question, “How can I best help my children, spouse, family member, staff member, friend, etc., improve/change?” In fact, that might be the most frequently asked question I receive, “How can I help change someone else?”
My answer often comes as a surprise and here it is. The key to helping others is to help yourself first. In other words, the best contribution I can make to someone else is my own personal development. If I become 10 times wiser, 10 times stronger, think of what that will do for my adventure as a father… as a randfather…
as a business colleague.

Listening to Jim mp3s or reading any of his books always leave me very inspired at the end of the whole exercise. Nobody I have ever read or listen to has the mastery of words like Jim Rohn. He has a way of passing his message that it will hit the right chord in you.
Over the years, I’ve always have one teacher and that is Mr. Rohn. I don’t hide it from anybody I come across and it is always a GREAT pleasure sharing his wisdom with everybody. Little wonder I can hardly see all my Jim Rohn’s books. I still have his mp3 messages though and they constitute a larger portion of my computer and my phone.

The great man that has impacted my life GREATLY, Mr. Jim Rohn, passed on last Saturday, December 5th, and I was shocked when I heard the news. There is no better way to celebrate Jim Rohn than to use this medium to share his wisdom that has impacted me over the years.
I can’t begin to say, in one piece, all I have learnt from Jim Rohn as I have been following him since 2001. I have read his books, listen to his messages and even receive his newsletters on a regular basis, in short I have been his disciple since our path met. The first day I read his article in Success Digest, it was difficult for me to sleep because I have NEVER read such a powerful word before.
