All About Blog: More Than Blogging!

It was an exhilirating experience over the weekend, when close to 70 people defy all odds to be at the Free Empowerment seminar organised by NaijaMotivation. The day started on a rainy note but that did not deter us to come together to create maximum impact.

The programme was billed to start by 11am but I was surprised to see people coming in as early as a little past 8am after I had gone to inspect the venue. Calls keep coming in from all over Lagos concerning the direction to the venue and I was sure we were in for a swell time together.

I was billed to talk about an aspect of Ebusiness, blogging, but one can’t help but impact lives, which became the theme of the seminar. I talked more than blogging and I am sure a lot of lives were changed. One important issue talked about is the power of DECISION and I am sure a lot of people decided to do something with their lives on that fateful Saturday.

I have asked one of the attendees to come up with a review of the programme for all to read because I may not be the best judge in this matter. My appreciation goes to those that made the seminar a success. This won’t have been possible without them all. I also render my SPECIAL appreciation to all those who came from outside of Lagos, it was surprising people could leave their bases and come down to be at the programme. Most surprising is someone that came all the way from Cotonou, Benin Republic!

I will be updating this page with pictures of the event as soon as I can lay my hands on them. If it has been your desire to attend but for one reason or the other you couldn’t make it, you haven’t really missed out because the recording was done and work is going on to bring it out on DVD or VCD. I will be informing you when it is ready ;)

Did you attend the seminar? Your comments will be appreciated. :)

    It was an ‘okay’ seminar!
Sometimes one needs to consolidate on what has been learnt. The seminar on blogging did that for me and I thank God I was able to attend. (At the cost of another activity).
I know that very soon you will become a guru on seminars too!

However, i’d like to ask you how you manage to get google ads on almost everything (including e-mails)? Or is that topic for another seminar?

I tell you it was a great pleasure to see my ezine article on common teenage problems had already been read by as many as 191 people. I just know though that I had not yet tapped the potential of that ezine marketing. For instance, I only just added my adsense link to my blogspot and included it in my latest article.
Thanks anyway for all the tutoring. I believe i’ll get there soon.

    Greetings Mr. Oni,

Was a very revealing programme. Didn’t regret the time spent at the occassion as my eyes were opened to the abounding opportunities that exists online and for those who are really to earnestly strive to work hard. I hope to put the much i learnt into practice as soon as possible.
Couldn’t buy the manual on web making and pick up my group photo at the occassion, please i do i get to get them and hope the price of the manual would still be at the rate on sale at the seminar occassion.

Thank you and God continue to enrich you.

Bola, you did not mind getting drenched in the rain because you wanted to show us how ‘to fish’ free.I still remember the joke about ‘rain and jeep’. Alot of us felt humbled and we left inspired to move to greater heights. Keep chasing your dream.
