It Pays To Have a Dream!

The story of the Wright Brothers is one I relish so much. One day, Orville and Wilbur thought of making an “Iron” fly! This has never happened before, but they believe it can happen. They were subjected to ridicule by the levelers of their time, but they never gave up. On December 17th, 1903, history was made and the “Kitty Hawk” flew. That started a revolution in the transportation industry and the name of the Wright brothers, will NEVER be forgotten when mention is made of the aircraft industry.

Don’t Quit

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,
When funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won if he’d stuck it out.
Don’t give up, though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.

No Problem is Bigger Than You Are!

This article was sent to me by one of my mentors and I decide to share it with you and I want to add what one of my sisters said, No problem is greater than me since it is not greater than Him that is in me ;)

No Problem is Bigger Than You Are!

What to do when you don’t know what to do?

Sometimes living hurts, and when life confronts us with
problems with which we don’t know what to do, it hurts even
more. We only improve by figuring things out.

Dream Big, Bold Dreams

What invites you to conceive of brave, big, and bold dreams
in your life?

Martin Luther King dreamed brave dreams. “I have a dream
that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true
meaning of its creed: all men are created equal.”

Mother Teresa dreamed big dreams. In Ladies Home Journal,
April, 1996, she shared her personal dream that, “I was to
follow Jesus into the slums… It was an order… And when
that happens, the only thing to do is say yes.”

Imagination Rules The World

I want you to know that your mind is so powerful that you cannot imagine anything on the one hand without also having the ability to bring the thought into reality on the other. An imagination leads to an idea and the very existence of an idea in your mind means that you have within you and around you, the capacity to turn it into reality.

Who Are You Listening To?

When I got out of the University in 2002, I declared to my folks that the most important thing to me is my dream. I told everyone that cares to listen that I am not enthusiastic on working for somebody else; I desire to set my sail.

Most people that heard my declaration never took me serious. They told me I was only joking that it wasn’t possible for a young man to leave the University and never bother to look for a job. I was like a jester to all of them. It was not just comprehensible for them.
